I'm Jacob. Odderon Lab is my small electronics shop in Louisiana. I design the boards, build the prototypes, write the firmware, and test things myself.

What I'm working on

Bass Manager Rev A

I'm building an adjustable crossover for a stereo system with a subwoofer. The audio filtering is analog, but I can change the settings digitally. I also want the controller to be replaceable so other people can experiment with it.

I've assembled a Rev A board and checked its power rails. I'm working on the controller now. I still need to test and measure the audio path.

It's still a prototype. I haven't measured the full frequency response, noise, or distortion yet.

Protection for 3–24 V DC projects.

I made this to put some protection between a DC power supply and whatever I'm working on. It handles reverse polarity, transients, and overcurrent.
